MCAS Cherry Point Change of Command Ceremony

I attended the Change of Command Ceremony at Marine Corp Air Station Cherry Point where Col. Brenden C. Burks was relieved by Col. Timothy R. Drieslein. MCAS Cherry Point is not only paramount for our Nation's safety, it is also one of the largest economic drivers and employers of our and surrounding counties. As Vice Chairman of the Civilian Military Community Committee, it is my pleasure to serve our community with these fine marines and the many other veterans that call Morehead City and Carteret County home. Join me in thanking Col. Burks for his leadership and service to our nation and community, and to welcome and support Col. Drieslein as he and his family settle in and become an active part of our community.
